Does the holder of a Blue Badge driving a campervan have the same rights as a car drive or different conditions ?  Bill.

Yes, same. We have never been challenged, the badge is for the person, not a vehicle

A Blue Badge is a Blue Badge, Bill, and can be used in any vehicle. My OH has one and we park in disabled bays or on yellow lines where necessary either with our car or our van. The rules are exactly the same.

It clearly says vehicle on the back of the card and says the card holder
There are place you can’t park a camper ref sea front but if you are a Blue badge holder it says you can .so this is saying a camper is covered
What you asked is all covered in the book in the picture[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

We use our Blue Badge to park in disabled bays etc. We have once been challenged - with our previous 6.4m AS Broadway. We were parked in the disabled bay at an English Heritage property. They reckoned we were obstructing the foot entrance - which we weren't. I am not sure that the employee that came to challenge us (having been complained to by someone else) clocked the badge until it was pointed out to her, then she didnt want to back down.
Glyne Lock, above, seems to suggest that the blue badge over rides any no camper parking, if i understand them correctly. (if not, I apologise) I wouldnt agree.  They are stopping a particular type of vehicle and just as you cant park "just anywhere" with a car & blue badge, I dont think you can park a camper van/motorhome where it says not to, just because you have a blue badge.

just to correct what is said above i did not say over rides any no camper parking.
place like Exmouth ref example says on the sea front side of the road on the sign  no campers or vans but also says ok for Blue Badge. you can park with a camper but in the bays the other side as it clearly says
