Toilet swap in a Trophy....
Hi, I picked up our 'new to us' Trophy last weekend and at some point in it's history the Fiamma Kasset toliet has been partly removed and a porta potti sat on top instead.
Is it possible to fit a Thetford c2 in its place? The dimensions are pretty close...both are 670mm wide.
Just wondering if anyone had done this and what's involved....

Thetford now fitted....but it's not easy!
If you are reasonably handy then it's just about a DIY job....I'm a professional kitchen fitter and have the right tools etc and it was still a bit of a bas..rd!
The main problem is the cassette ….it's taller than the fiamma original so you have to make some subtle cut outs to the access panel.
The toilet itself is also taller, so you need to mark and carefully remove the original floor in the toilet area to make the cassette line up with the existing hole for the access panel.
I cut some batons from CLS timber for the toilet so sit on so it was at the right height.
Final niggle was the filler for the flush water...that sits higher than the cassette, so rather than butcher the vans bodywork I figured you can 'reverse fill' the reservoir via the drain pipe and bung.
It's now in, looks like it was 'factory fitted' and I'm happy with the end result.

Well done, certainly not something I would undertake.
