Palermo table
Hi all,
I saw somewhere on this site a comment from someone about moving the kitchen fold down worktop extension to make a smaller table in the dining area instead of the big folding table. This looks like an idea worth considering, BUT can anyone tell me what the wall is made of and whether there is anything to screw into BEFORE I make a big hole!!
Thanks,
Alan

Re: Palermo table
The wall will be thin hardboard/ply with styrofoam behind it. Normally screws (not too long!!) will hold brackets and the like.
I wonder if a smaller lighter free standing table may suit. A few years ago Morrisons were flogging some off which many thought more suitable than the AS supplied tables. We got one and have been happy with it
There are other sources for these if you look around. Mostly shops and Supermarkets
