LPG in Germany....?
Off to Germany for the month of May and was curious as to what was the availability of LPG (tank top-up) in Germany. I have seen so stuff recently about UK garages withdrawing it and where I live (Hereford), a number of sites have withdrawn it from forecourts.
Is this the situation anywhere else in Europe, or just UK?
Great idea and cheaper to have big refillable LPG tanks, but what if you can't get at filling stations anymore......

I use filllpg app and keep an eye on their updates. New stations are being added all over Europe especially Poland, Germany and Croatia.
It would seem it's only UK that doesn't get the message.

I’m sure you are aware but just in case you’re not! Make sure you have the appropriate adapter for the country you’re visiting. I know you need a different one for Spain and suspect you may for Germany.
Enjoy your travels!

I have all the adapters and go to Spain every year. It is almost impossible to find LPG points in Spain. We always fill up near the border in France.Stevemills92 wrote:I’m sure you are aware but just in case you’re not! Make sure you have the appropriate adapter for the country you’re visiting. I have now purchased a Spanish LPG bottle and regulator for prolonged stays.
A couple of years ago i was pitched at Benidorm for a month, i noticed i was getting low on gas so I went to the reception to ask where i could top up. There reply was, i think there is a garage somewhere in the mountains you can get it but nowhere round here. You can definitely get it in Barcelona?

Have you checked on how quarantine will work as you cross each country border and return to the UK?

i carry a Repsol bottle for our Spanish winter trips along with an 11kg Gaslow...we often stop at Benicassim and there are at least two LPG stations in Castellon, 10km away and more dotted about not too ar away.Biged wrote:I have all the adapters and go to Spain every year.
