Does anyone know what size of pipe is required in order to extend the windscreen scuttle drainage past the gearbox (Boxer)
Thanks

No - but it is only a push fit onto the scuttle spigot so easy to check.

if its the same as the mode on the x250 to stop water going on the engine a very small pipe .is it a very small black pipe  if so screen washer pipe .take your pipe to euro car parts for size or Halfords . if you fit new clear pipe warm pipe with hot water to push on your fitting

the x250 only had a drain on the o/s that   I  break the mesh inside the pipe or it blocks  up . the small pipe drains the water on the n/s . as if  the vehicle is not parked on level ground then  over flows and below is the ECU and the wiring loom . this now has better drain off pipes both sides on the x290 . the wiring has lots of problems here on the x250

thanks tintent. when you go to that forum post the you tube clip shows the water going down over the ecu as I said on x250 vans . Mike there is a longer mod pipe listed on classic site ( gearbox on symphony ).Paul has listed the part numbers ? is that what you want. its says that water gets into gearbox  ? must get in breather the longer pipe must sort this. please read this Mike as you may have the problem with your OIL if this is the same spec van you have
