Leisure battery charger
Hello all, I hope you had a fantastic Christmas.
I have posted previously about leisure battery replacement, but I would like to locate the on-board battery charger that charges the battery while on electric hook-up or whether this was an optional extra that my van does not have. I would appreciate any help/knowledge you have on this.
Many thanks,
Alex Ingham

Re: Leisure battery charger
Very unlikely to have been optional in 2002. I would expect it to be under the floor of one of the cupboards, immediately to the left of the bed.

Alex......have you had a look in the cupboard below the cooker/hob unit? A/S put them there in the Duetto model and whilst not visible, there is a cutout in the carpeting for access to the on/off switch which glows red when powered on.

Re: Leisure battery charger
Great thanks for that. Being a trident, directly below the cooker/hob unit is the fridge. I would assume that it could be in the cupboard where the gas cut off’s are or potentially in the large, deep cupboard directly left to the bed. I will have a look in the van tomorrow and let you know how I get on!
Thanks again,
Alex Ingham

Re: Leisure battery charger
At that age, I would expect it to be supplied via one of the 240V MCBs.
