Fairford owner contacted by Swift ?
Over on the Facebook group, someone with a new Fairford was contacted by email from SWIFT (and also Sargent) to tell them their battery was low. The email came from Swift Command. It's something to do with the ec700 being monitored remotely but what has Swift got to do with it? This technology is simply getting worse.

Re: Fairford owner contacted by Swift ?
"Swift Command is operated and maintained by Sargent Electrical Services Limited in conjunction with The Swift Group Limited."
quote from their website.
It is evidently a joint collaboration between the 2 companies. I'm now wondering if the Swift Group own Sargent, or whether Swift didn't realise Sargent would enable it on kit sold to Auto Sleepers
I note another Sargent product "AS Monitor". I wonder if there has been a cockup with AS vans getting Swift Command instead of AS Monitor

Companies House list 6 directors for Sargent, all called Sargent. All 1000 issued shares are held by 4 Sargents, 450/450/50/50.

It does sound as if either an incorrect Sargent box has been fitted, or the wrong software downloaded into the box. I remember a TV item a decade ago about the telemetry systems on McLaren cars that automatically sent diagnostic info on their cars to Woking from anywhere in the world. At least the Fairford owner got the message from a motorhome builder and not an F1 racing car maker.
