Duetto table floor sockets.
Hello,
Can anyone shed light on how to remove the metal sockets in the floor of my 2000 Duetto, that take the table leg?
I want to replace the floor covering and it would be much neater to fit under these sockets like the original carpet, rather than cutting around - no matter how careful I am!
I have looked under the van and can't see any fixing bolts and there are no obvious screws on the top. I've even tried sliding a knife under the metal of the socket but can't seem to loosen it.
Has anyone an answer to this conundrum, please?

Re: Duetto table floor sockets.
It's been asked (and answered) a few times here before. IIRC the decorative covers are held on with a 3M-type adhesive tape, so heating with something like a hair-dryer may help - you just have to take it gently and gradually. Once the (thin) decorative cover is off, you should be able to access the self-tapping screws underneath.

As above, have removed one of these 3 times now, in different vans.
