Re: Clicking pressure switch
Yes, it is a common problem and seems to be worse when the water heater is on. It seems that air in the system is acting like a spring and 'fooling' the pressure switch into operating and the pump gives a short burst.
Sometimes the system works perfectly, but in most cases, I hear the pump every now and then. It can be helped by adjusting the switch, but be warned, it is a fiddly process and takes time (depending on how much expansion space there is in the system.

I would also feel along every pipe and joint that you can reach, checking for a leak. I had a pinhole in a pipe , the spray out of it was invisible as it was so fine but it caused the pump to come on every five minutes.

Re: Clicking pressure switch
That pump system seems to be a general problem. I also have it in my Kingham. Very often I have to re-adjust the pressure down as the pump starts working unexpectedly. So I switch the pump off on the touchscreen panel (if I don't forget) but it is rather ennoying.

You might want to check your non-return valve is clear, I had my 2019 WXL start the pump about every 15-20mins, after checking the non-return valve it had a small piece of rubber stuck under the rubber valve preventing it from fully closing.

When I switched pump off last night tank level reading 75% when I switched it back on today reading 100% pump running but not pumping could this be to do with none return valve.

Re: Clicking pressure switch
It could in theory be the non return valve if the contents of the plumbing system were draining back into the tank overnight replacing water drawn . To do this you would really need a leak or tap open slightly to allow air in at the high end of the system and allow water to drain.
It only takes a grain of dirt/ sand / blade of grass/ plastic swarf from drilling tank on fitting to stop the valve from closing properly.

Re: Clicking pressure switch
When our van does this it is water getting past the air inlet valve. There is a valve that allows air in when the drain down valve is opened. I suppose it is designed to ensue the heater is emptied and water is not held by a vacuum. In practice, the valve often lets water out which drips under the van from a vent tube. Some days it does it, some days it doesn’t. I just turn the pump off and hope it resolves itself. I have removed the air inlet valve to inspect but you can’t dismantle or service it. I blew a bit of air through that solved the problem temporarily but it just comes back again in a few days.
I blame hard water. If you stay, as I have, around North Lincs or parts of the Vale of York, you get hard water. It will accumulate accretions inside the heater that spall off as gritty bits. North Lincs is the worst, it’s not water there it’s chalk soup.
I grew up in east Durham where water was very hard. Kettles and immersions there have a very short life.
