Help please Front skylight
Hi all, wonder if anyone can help. I have a Broadway el duo 2015. The front roof skylight above the cab is leaking. I obviously need to repair it. It is a dometic. I have tried contacting a/s to find out the model of this skylight, no luck( no reply, actually) I need to know the model so I can contact dometic and get the manual so I know how it comes apart. I have looked at the dometic manuals online and none match my skylight. Can anyone help?

If you ring AS spares and quote your build number (label in glovebox) they should be able to tell you what rooflight was used.

Hi. I’ve just found your post above. I’ve been trying to find out how to remove the skylight as it seems the only possible way to clean/polish the black area of the roof around the skylight. Mine is not broken. Did you have any luck getting a manual or instructions from Dometic?Spockydog wrote:Hi all, wonder if anyone can help. I have a Broadway el duo 2015. No suggestions from anyone on here. My enquiry was regarding opening skylight further to clean black areas of roof. I just do as much as I can from the outside on a ladder. Hope you find a solution for your leak. Fortunately mine is OK.

I would consider changing the rubber seal first , then removing the skylight for a re bed and seal I was Quoted £180 labour for replacing large middle opening skylight by an autosleeper dealer .2 years ago .

I had it done by a local mobile repairer at home ,saved a lot of hassle travelling to main dealer

Hi try the link below.
Its for the Dometic Seitz Skyview this is what is fitted to my 2017 Broadway EB.
I had the same problem of a slight leak. It was the sealant around the frame under the wind up window that had failed.
I hope this is of some help to you.

Read somewhere online that one owner found it a more cost effective solution was to replace it with a Maxxfan. Only good if you can do without the light source I guess.
