Hartal roof light - cover missing
I’ve discovered that the cover on my Hartal roof light is missing. I think there was a thread on here discussing this same problem. Can anyone remember where it was, as it had some very good photos on it that I can show my garage man when explaining what I want.
Thanks in advance. I think the thread was about a symbol and I think the response was by Peter, but I can’t be sure.

Are you sure it's Hartal, I thought they made doors? My rooflights are Seitz.

Re: Hartal roof light - cover missing
We rang Autosleepers up and gave them the van job number. They said it was Hartal, but I wouldn’t really know. I’m taking their word, they could be wrong though. It’s the one with the shiny metal slats that close for the light (and rattle like mad!). You open it by turning a fold out handle. My brother took a couple of photos and it looks like the one I remember from the thread on here. To be honest, all I really want to know is can the missing cover be sourced and replaced, and if not, what’s the recommended replacement.Paulmold wrote:Are you sure it's Hartal, I thought they made doors? That's completely different to mine so they are probably right. They swop and change so many components even in just a few months.

Well I've had a Google and lots of suppliers for standard 40x40 rooflights but none for ones like in your photos until I found this company...

They are trade only so you'd have to ask a caravan dealer shop if they have an account. As it happens they belong to Trigano , so maybe even AS could order for you. Check out the website above and then 'fitting out and spares' and you may see what you're after.

Quick update to say that the new mini Heki is now fitted. It looks really nice, gives more light, and has no rattly aluminium bits. Thanks to everyone who helped, and also to Peter who supplied the photos etc.
