Replace shower taps 1999 Symphony

Hi, Taps leaking, inserts shot, I have purchased a new tap unit and was hoping it would be a simple job to swap insets over but no, different configuration.

Think  will need to replace complete unit - which means access behind the panels. 

At first glance plenty of screw caps to flip off and undo - but looks like panel goes behind the window. Not keen to remove this.

Has anyone experience of this??

Cannot see access from wardrobe.

As I suspected, looks like window surround might need to be removed - not sure if that alone will give access to the taps, so could be off with whole panel.
