Surface of moon or Yorkshire potholes

This is a carpark for viewing along the A684 between Sedbergh and Hawes. The view was nowhere to be seen due to torrential rain but we wanted to pull in to make lunch. I dare not cross the carpark as you couldn't see how deep the craters were...

Been through it my Smart car, bit of a slalom course but OK. Might be worse since I was there 2 year ago, the Travellers use it on the way to/from Appleby.

Thought you were in the East Riding Paul, most of our roads are like that.
