Attached to the glass cover of the kitchen sink is a bracket to hold a metal drainer. Has anyone removed that and if so how. We find it is sharp and dangerous to leave attached.

I think mine’s glued on and could possibly remove it with a sharp blade or careful application of direct heat to the blade.

I don’t use my drainer, it’s unused in the loft along with the crystal glasses and Whale filling system, but in over two years and 23000 miles of use, I’ve never found the mounting bracket to be dangerous or intrusive and it’s always there for the next owner to use.

Never had a problem and use the drainer when I wash up! Also have used the crystal glasses and always where possible use the Whale system, never had a problem with it, it makes filling up a dream smile!
