Glue for sink top glass drainer
Hi, The metal strip for holding the drainer, which is glued to the glass top over our kitchen sink has fallen off.
Could I ask which glue is best to use to successfully reapply the metal strip?
Thanks in advance
Stuart

Re: Glue for sink top glass drainer
Yes this happened to me a few years ago. It happened on a very hot sunny day. The glue holding the metal draining rack to the glass top had softened and with the weight of cups, plates etc on the draining rack, the whole lot collapsed into the sink. I cleaned all the relevant surfaces and re-stuck the metal drainer plate to the glass top with an epoxy glue. Can't remember which make. Its still holding firm, but this might be because we do not use the rack anymore for draining 'pots'...though sometimes I'm tempted to do so.
