Ebay oddity
Take a look at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It looks pure Auto-Sleeper inside, except the upholstery fabric isn't an A/S one I've ever seen before, but reupholstering isn't a sin. However externally the graphic lettering is the wrong style and I'm not too clear on model names of that period, but can it be both a 'Symphony' and a 'Vivanti 2S', whatever the latter signifies?
What staggered me most was the shower room picture of a domestic radiator on the wall. Leave aside the reduction of space in such a tiny room, there is no hot water central heating system to heat that rad and there are no flow and return pipes. So my only conclusion is it must be electric. Surely it has to be mains electric, not 12V, and it has to be madness to put a mains electric appliance in a shower closet where it can get soaked with water?

Re: Ebay oddity
Made by A/S for I think for the hire? market to perhaps a lower conversion spec.
They tried the same with the Orian brand aimed at the young Upwardly mobile set.
Ann seems to remember that one of the very first Gatcombe out, had the same fabric colouration's.
(seen at Frank Williams' Cotswold Motorcaravans)

Checked with the ASOC web and it is definitely an Autosleeper as are the Vivanti V4 & V5 models.

Ah! So if lower spec., maybe no warm air heating vent in the washroom and the barmy attempt to put a mains heater in a shower closet. Enough to give an electrician apoplexy I should think.

Re: Ebay oddity
Duetto's latterly ( or even from their conception) had the Eberspacher heater which was under the bench seat with only one vent I think.
Don't recall any of our Duetto's having vents to the bathroom
I think the mains heater is an owner fitted unit! (especially with the showerhead fitted.

Re: Ebay oddity
Oh, very definitely owner fitted, no dealer's electrician would countenance it. Maybe he wanted to kill his Mrs
Maybe they never used the shower, so thought it was OK. Of course they didn't think that they might sell the van, we all do, in the end and an inexperienced young family might buy it and not realise the risks. I guess the dealers should be made responsible for checking out and removing such things, but a lot of smaller ones just turn a blind eye.
Our Webasto AirTop is boxed in under the forward part of the rear nearside seatbox and has one outlet to the centre aisle. I believe that in the Cavarno (Symbol/Duetto layout but SWB base) it was fitted in the same place but had trunking back to the shower room as well.
