Brake disc wear warning light
Hi
I have a one year old Kingham. Driving back from Scotland recently the brake disc excessive wear warning light came on. As the van was still under warranty and had only done 4000 miles the discs could not possibly be worn so I assumed that there was something wrong with the sensor. I booked it into the main dealer who diagnosed that the sensor wire on the rear brake discs was stretched tight around the air suspension units installed by Autosleeper so causing the light to come on. They repositioned the wire and the fault has not re-occurred. So if anyone has this problem it could likely be that. There was a thread about this problem on the forum in the past and much discussion about whether the sensor was only on one front brake but from my experience there must be sensors on all 4 wheels. Hope this helps someone
