Autosleeper Bourton 2015
Just ordered a 2015 Bourton to collect next week, Does anyone know if it has a Factory fitted alarm and is it Cat 1, also does it have a Tracker factory fitted? these questions asked by insurance and dealer has not replied yet. we have a Devon but decided to change for a bit more space. Thank you in advance.

I don't think any model has alarm as standard (all have immobiliser) but trackers were fitted after a certain year but I don't know when. If it has one, it will need re-registering in your name.

Usually when a vehicle has an immobiliser, you fit what is known as a 2.1 alarm, it upgrades a Cat 2 immobiliser to a Cat 1 alarm.

I’m pretty sure you do have a tracker fitted on the 2015 Bourton, which should be the Hal Locate system.

Re: Autosleeper Bourton 2015
Hi Pete, we have a 2015 Bourton and it does not have an alarm or tracker as standard, only the immobiliser as Paul mentioned. We had a Cobra alarm fitted and also a non-monitored basic Tracker; our insurance co. did not seem fazed with the lack of an approved tracker, they did want the alarm/ immobiliser fitted.
Hope this helps,
Dave.

Bourton 2015 alarm and immobiliser
I have a 2015 Bourton. I checked with AS
It came as standard
Immobiliser Mercedes factory fitted Thatcham 2
Alarm Thatcham 2-1
I bought a Disklok steering wheel lock for extra security
I found the cheapest insurance from Comfort

Re: Autosleeper Bourton 2015
Picked it up on Thursday, Checked and it has Cobra Alarm, Immobiliser, Solar Panel and Spare wheel, I also use a Disklok, Insurance is a bit more of a problem when you get past 80, bit tight in parking space but I managed with the help of my co-pilot. Not too thrilled with rear camera but will see how it goes.

Checked it over and very pleased so far, previous owner removed quite a few bits, Fire extinguisher, Glasses and Crockery, Kitchen Roll Despenser plus other bits but no big deal but why!

Re: Autosleeper Bourton 2015
Is there a specific model of Cobra alarm for Motorhomes, I don't have any Operating instructions, I know that when I press the lock button on Key Fob alarm and central locking is set. I have contacted previous owners (nice couple) but they don't have the Operating instructions and the other bits that were missing were missing when they bought it.

Download instructions for Cobra 4600 series. That may help.
