Bung for kitchen tap
Does anyone have suggestions where I can buy a drip bung for the kitchen tap, as I’ve misplaced it. I tried Auto-Sleepers but there is a minimum charge of £5 plus postage and they wouldn’t add it to a larger order that was already going through. Strange idea of customer service but hey ho.

Little black cap for end of spout? I have same van as OP and understand. With sink lid down for travelling, the tap can drip onto it or onto hob lid depending in which direction you leave the spout. I'd be surprised if you could get one separately .

Thank you. Always alert to something we might be missing. When we travel the pump automatically switches off so no drips, ever.
Only time I have had a problem was once when parked I lifted the sink cover, knocked the tap on and it took a moment or two to work out why I was being soaked and getting wet feet. What a mess !

That’s it exactly. I’ll have to see if I ever order anything from Auto-Sleepers again and order this at the same time. You would have hoped that they would have just thrown one in the existing package, but jobs worth and all that. They probably get them for 10p.Paulmold wrote:Little black cap for end of spout? I would take a look on ebay. I bought some, but not for this purpose.
I bought some items from A/S, I topped them up to £5 so now have loads of spare screws, I know a waste but that is the way they work!.
Good hunting.

Try Mocap but you would have to have a pack of 20 @ £8.61 then sell them on here for £5 each .

Why treat the symptoms when the sensible route would be to tackle the cause......stop the drip.

Re: Bung for kitchen tap
There isn’t really a drip as such. Like any tap, even the ones at home, shutting them leaves water up to the spout. This small amount then drips out if travelling. It’s a minor inconvenience, but as I’ve misplaced the one that came with the van as new, I thought it would be good to replace it.KMRTOPAZ wrote:Why treat the symptoms when the sensible route would be to tackle the cause......stop the drip.

It’s not a drip, more a drop.

Re: Bung for kitchen tap
Thanks for posting this
It's took me 13 months to realise what my bung was for
I feel like I need three now; one for each tap and the shower, or am I just being a drip?
