Vw t4 Trident rain gutters

Hi I need to remove the rain gutters from my van as the wood behind them is rotten and is pushing them away from the van, cracking the sealant. Has anyone attempted this before?

Hi Thanks for getting back to me. I have now removed them. Luckily as the wood was so rotten they came off fairly easily. I used a multi tool to cut between the wood and the roof. Did you buy new roof gutters or repair the ones you had. I will be putting them back on in a few weeks once the rust around the windscreen is repaired.

If you can I would just repair and re-use the ones you have as I believe the original Autosleeper ones went obsolete years ago.....
