T4 Trident Gutters above windows
I have a T4 Trident with plastic gutters both sides of the van fixed with bolts screwed into metal fixings which are glued to the sides of the van. anyone know where I can source these fixings?

Agreed - and if they don't sell them (I don't think they have been used on any models for a few years now) they will probably be able to tell you where they sourced them. To me they appear to be a marine product, but I may be wrong about that.
A few years back I tried to source some for a Flair, which used the same system, but I failed and ended up bonding the existing (loose) ones back on, which worked out Ok.

...just out of curiosity, are you by any chance in the process of removing the gutter mouldings, possibly to remove rust....or is it just a loose bolt ?
I would think that the gutters are secured by very strong adhesive/sealant by the factory, as well as the bolts.

Thamk you report and yes I have removed the gutters and found that the fixing bolts screw into a metal base plate with a column which is threaded internally holding the bolt in place. It is these base plates i am after having lost 4 somehow. Autosleepers dont keep them and the gutters are made to order by an outside manufacturer.

I went through this exercise a while ago, but cannot find the info.
I'm not sure if I did actually purchase any though.
I did rebond quite a few that had become detached from the body.
The fixing plates were 'roughed' up before bonding, with I think Araldite.
A quick Google search brings up these which you may find helpful:

Re: T4 Trident Gutters above windows
On mine, A/S had originally fixed them with double-sided sticky tape, which I thought was a bit pathetic.
Be warned - "60 second" epoxy adhesive seems to take a ~lot~ longer than 60 seconds to set when you're standing on a ladder and holding one of those in position with plastic gloves on!
If you've also lost the fixing bolt, I found that a nylon number plate fixing bolt can fit, though with the wrong type of head - but it didn't really show on mine.

Re: T4 Trident Gutters above windows
I did wonder what the plastic outer gutter screwed into after going through the wood and mastic that creates the internal gutter. There is quite a space down the side of the van between each screw holding the outer plastic housing on. Can I ask you if that means that every screw has it's own individual metal plate to screw into?
Cheers....

Re: T4 Trident Gutters above windows
I'm fairly sure that A/S used two different systems at different times. The one being discussed here is the one with glued-on standoffs, but they have also used a directly fixed method, without standoffs. Sorry to say I don't know how the latter system was implemented.
