Warwick Duo heater fan noise
Hello to everyone. I'm on the Isle of Wight and have recently bought a 2012 Warwick Duo. Being retired we're looking forward to spending more time seeing the bits of Britain we've always wanted to but never have. I've found the help on here fantastic. Do any of you have a heater fan that sounds as though it's rubbing on something or is this normal? I'd be glad of any thoughts on a remedy as the van is still under warranty, Many Thanks.

Re: Warwick Duo heater fan noise
The fan normally can hardly be heard. I have had just a couple of occasions when the heater appears to have overheated and the fan has gone into what I would describe as banshee mode with huge noise and massive HOT airflow. I have never had noise normally. We can leave the heater on overnight without disturbance. Sounds as if you should tackle the dealer. You should be able to hear a heater in another van if they say nothing wrong.

Re: Warwick Duo heater fan noise
My fan made a rubbing/scraping noise at 16 months old. Trip back to the dealer( Dolphin ) and they fixed it in no time under warranty.
The tiny grub screw which secures the fan blades to the shaft had come loose, quick dab of loctite and been ok since.
Just wonder how much that cost to put right, hope the sent the bill to Truma! Another case of cutting corners in production maybe.
