Daewoo KOR-6L6BD failure
1. I need to replace/repair my Daewoo KOR-6L6BD microwave. There is power to the system, the programmer timer is functional and the turntable rotates but there is no heating from the microwave itself.
How do I get at it to remove it? I assume I have to remove the extractor fan assembly mounted under the shelf unit carcase below the microwave.
Is there an internal fuse that might have failed?
Could it be due to overheating ? – others appear to have had this problem
Where do I source a replacement? Is the microwave motorhome specific?

Don't know about fuse but doubt that's the problem. Usually held in housing by 4 screws from below into the casing. Any MW that is of similar power output and size will replace it.

Windychippy put this on another thread...
pick up a new £50 micro from Morrisons with a 3 year guarantee. 6mm less in width and depth and 10mm less in height and stylish black. Model No. 2164019 for anyone who needs to replace theirs.

Mine is 2011, but bet similar
You need to dismantle the casing of the cooker hood fan, eventually you will get to the screws that hold it to the shelf above, just below the micro wave
Once that's out of the way, you'll find 4 screws holding the microwave to its shelf, from underneath, remove these.
The microwave will now pull forwards and reveal its 240v plug, plugged into a socket in the cavity, you need to unplug that.
Now you can remove the microwave from its housing
If you wish to replace it (Can't understand why! ) then you need to fit the new one into the exact place you want it to be then, VERY carefully drill 2 or 3 mm holes through the existing screw holes that secured the dead one, only through the chassis of the new one. Personally I think this to be about the most cr8p way of mounting a microwave into a moving vehicle, but, we're not here to re-design. Having done that, the original, self tapping screws you removed to release the old one can be re-used to install this one, please remember to plug it into the hidden socket first though!
Now plug the MH into EHU and test new microwave, hopefully it'll work
Now refit extractor fan housing etc until that too is working again
Personally we use ours to store bread and as we never use an EHU, it is of no known practical use in our MH, apart from storing bread!!!
Good Luck!!
