Duetto Toilet Roof Vent
Hi Just come back from Somerset and in the Wind have lost the Toilet Plastic Roof Cover.
I have a 1994 Ford Duetto
Anyone know where I can get a replacement
and would I have to order the whole thing
and how hard is it to get back on
Thank you for listening to me rabbit on

Probably a MPK one, look on eBay, O`leary`s ,or Leisure shop direct, just bought one from there, their warehouse is in Notts, went there, as not far from us, as I broke the lugs on the fly screen.bought the whole roof vent the 400 x 499 size..

Most decent caravan shop will have them, fairly standard.

Re: Duetto Toilet Roof Vent
No idea if you got this sorted by now but i needed mine replacing before going away this year. The outer cover had badly 'weathered' and had quite a sizeable hole in so each time it rained, it came straight through. Good job it was the shower area so just drained straight into the grey waste tank!
I quickly found buying a new cover only wasn't that much cheaper than a complete vent so opted for the latter and decided to get it fitted professionally as i'm past doing any clambering up steps etc! Good job i did too as the guy 'dry fitted' it first before putting sealant on and found there was a slight curve on the base frame (of the original vent) requiring some plastic to be filed away to get a snug fitting. He took a photo on his phone to show me the roof 'curve' by placing a piece of wood across.

Thank you for your reply,
Yes indeed we have today fitted a new cover and went with the whole new thing,
Not a quick job but a very satisfying one,
Probably better than a garage would do, as we got rid of every scrap of old mastic and tape,
Throughly cleaned the whole roof and refitted the new unit...
Really pleased with the result as not DIYers but thought it couldn’t be too difficult (time consuming) But great satisfaction when finished....
Got the whole unit tape and mastic from “Leisure Shop” as recommended by Daisy Mae.....

Just me being nosey Was your roof cover fitting very expensive.
Would be nice to see how much we have saved ourselves by doing it ourselves.
The total of our parts sealant cover and tape was about £54.

Replaced the one on the Amethyst or rather my Husband did for me, dealer wanted three hours time for doing it , had already bought the vent. thought that was a bit much.
Cost around £50 a big saving.
