Hello all. I have a 2009 sigma and the wind out awning has dropped slightly on the side you wind.this makes it awkward when winding in. Any ideas?

Wind out awning Empty Re: Wind out awning

Hi, seem to recall our previous 09 Broadway had the same awning arrangement. On one occasion because it wound in slightly uneven, the winding side did not fully engage in the stowed position. Resolved by unwinding completely, thorough cleaning of the material. A thing to check is, does the effected end 'ride up over the metal slide bit immediately before complete storage and does this slide bit match the other end? Apologies if my description of the relevant parts is somewhat confusing. Regards

Hi paramedic
The effected end hits the metal slide and will not ride over unless I give it a nudge

Wind out awning Empty Re: Wind out awning

My awning is recessed into the roof side of the Broadway and it will not wind back in fully unless my wife pushes it up with a stick for the last few inches so that it will engage with the sliders. Willersey had it in recently and greased the sliders which improved it for a while but it is now as bad as ever. Can't see how any adjustment is made.
