leak from joint on waste tank 2011 Symbol
we are away in Germany at present.
I have a problem with a leak from the joint where the waste drainage pipe goes into the waste tank.
I have tried tightening the fitting but its just turning and not getting tight so still leaking..
Is the fitting screwed into a threaded fitting (boss) on the waste tank or is there a nut on the inside of the waste tank?
Might does bodge it with some sealant for the moment until we get home and then drop the tank off the van.
cheers
Mike
Writing this on a very wet day near Fussen in Southern Germany, bit of a shock to see so much rain after the UK's summer!

Hi mpberrett
We had the same problem. I dropped the tank out its only four nuts and the pipes just pull off.
Undo the large bung and you can put your hand inside the tank and hold the locking nut and do it up from the outside. Probably a good idea to put some sort of sealer around the joint.
Good luck
