Kingham Thetford fridge
I have a 2014 Kingham. When the fridge is on auto and the engine is started the gas and battery symbols flash alternatively. I suspect the 12v relay. Does anybody know where it is situated?

Re: Kingham Thetford fridge
Could it be one of the 12v fuses inside the little hatch below the sofa? I think one of them is the 12v for the fridge?
See 3.13 of the AS manual.. 12v fuse for fridge is located at the EM40 Interface Unit which I think is inside the hatch below the sofa. It says the fridge 12v fuse is no.6 and is a 20amp yellow fuse

Correction the EM40 interface unit is the small unit located at floor level behind the drivers seat and houses the fuse I mention above for the fridge ie at position no. 6 yellow 20amp

You evidently have a fridge with an auto mode.
Would you mind saying which model you have?
Was that the standard fitment or did you get it fitted?
My van came with a Dometic RMS 8501 which does not have an auto mode.

Bobs Kingham is the same age as mine Don so should be the Theford auto 3 way with touch screen panel - model number N3097. It does sound like there is no 12v getting to the fridge- hence I suggested checking the 12v fuse.

It's a Thetford N3097. I have just had a look at the connections on the EM40 interface, the fridge out plug looks burnt. Don't want to mess about with it until I get home in a couple of weeks.

Re: Kingham Thetford fridge
If the plug looks burnt. Might be best to switch the fridge over to manual while your away until its fixed. You can then turn it on to 240v or gas when parked up and turn it off before driving. Dont want something burning out on you whilst driving?
Do you know how to switch it to manual mode?

Re: Kingham Thetford fridge
Fitted new crimps to cable and it is now working on 12v. The same thing happened last year but with vehicle battery in connection. My advice is if you have any electrical problems and all the fuses are OK check all the connections on the Em40 interface. On the Kingham just take out the 4 screws and lift the EM40 out. The cables are quite long so no problem.
