Dashboard lighting Empty Dashboard lighting

can anyone tell me if the dashboard backlighting should come on when the ignition is turned on.
At the moment mine only come on when the headlights are turned on
I have a autosleeper Warwick duo on a 2014 Peugeot boxer 
Any advice would be ppreciates

I have the same vehicle and the same thing happens.

I believe that from Euro 6 onwards, the lights come on with the engine running and that Fiat based X250 Euro 5 vehicles can have a software mod done to make the dash lights come on with the engine running, but am not sure if this now also applies to Peugeot bases.

My 201# Euro V is the same. Isn't it clever - a software mod to get the dashboard to light up with the ignition on! One way to give the garages money for jam.

Had my Fiat software updated during a service there was no charge, it's worth asking.
