Hi All, Am hoping that someone can help with a problem my Peugeot boxer 1999 symbol 2.0i petrol engine has, there seems to be a problem with the charcoal canister that purges the fuel on our van. I have tried everywhere from breakers to peugeots parts suppliers/Peugeot specialists to hundreds of sites and even Peugeot HQ  in France ...but to no avail...does anyone know bout these units ..if they can be refurbished or even where i may get one if possible.
Thank you in advance.
Dave.

What's wrong with the existing one? I don't know specifically about the Boxer, but in general these are not critical to engine function on a petrol engine.

Hi Mojo, Its for purging the fuel and is also part and parcel in air/fuel ratio to injectors as i have the 2.0i engine. It seems to be having damp patch on top where the evap unit is..feel it may have a leak, but as it looks like a sealed unit i would rather not play with it..so looking for a replacement...but might do better winning the Lottery !!
