Sorry about that Tony. Didn't know you were keen on the chimps. Enjoy your stay, I believe the jumbo burgers are good.Askit wrote:burlingtonboaby wrote:Are you going up to the Woods Tony, enjoy your trip out.

Re: Weather
Hedge trimmed, now I can see the gate post. Management did a good job with the brush and shovel.
I can tell our local kebab shop is open again. There is just room to walk between the front of the Rienza and the gates. Some scum has dumped a kebab shop chip box and a portion of chips under the hedge in front of the Rienza. They must have been trying hard to do that. They must have squeezed between the Rienza and the house wall to get there. I suspect they were dumped by some one caught short judging by the smell. They were a neat pile of chips not just dumped.
We are used to our front hedge being a deposit for cans and kebab shop rubbish but this new.
I think I might add a security light beyond the gates. The one above the side door is blocked by the gates since we had them fitted.

No, they are always busy with tourists
Somebody turned the gas up here, temperature has jumped several degrees over the last hour or so. Looks like the shorts and tee shirt beckon

Re: Weather
After a cracking weekends weather at Cardigan Bay, we awoke to grey and overcast and just as we left the site, the heavens opened and it's been pouring ever since. Sea mist and fog on way to St.Davids, visibility down to 100 yards in places.

Just took a walk to Whitesands Bay. Turned warm and sunny. Some broken cloud. Getting quite busy down there with surfers.

Tomorrow is the day you all need to worry about, you don't want it to rain on St Swithin's day

Re: Weather
Bit mixed today, some drizzle, some warm sunshine. Looks to be improving over the next week or so, fingers crossed. We've got some long tail ti ts feeding in the garden, about half of them are young. Hope they stick around.

Sunflower hearts attract ours best, but they are usually far more interested in whatever grubs or insects they find on the trees.Askit wrote:We've got some long tail ti ts feeding in the garden, about half of them are young. Hope they stick around.
They arrive as a flock, do a tree, then move on to the next.
Dismal here today, and very few birds, other than the greedy resident sparrows fighting among themselves.

Re: Weather
We have had to remove our bird feeders again this year due to the doo numbers Coming into the garden, they sit on the TV aerials and fly down to get the fallen sun flower hearts and anything else that's out.
The bird bath has to be washed out twice a day due to doo pooh.
Cool, overcast afternoon.
