Raining quite heavily here. You can almost hear the garden soaking it up. Much cooler too and breezy.  A good day for a walk as the fair weather walkers and joggers will all be indoors. A big umbrella would be a good social distancing device as well.

Typically I have finished the inside jobs now the weather has changed. It was back to cold and wet here all day. 
Hopefully it will dry up by the time I get the insert for the door frame.

Dreich Dawn , heavy showers from 3 a.m until 6, nice coastal wind clearing away the rain clouds .

Heavy rain yesterday evening, dry overnight, sunny this morning. Looks like the rain headed over your way.

We had a dry sunny spell after a wet night. It is now throwing it down, grey and miserable and quite cold as well.

We've had rain on and off over the last couple of days but now we have hailstones

Just before midday we had terrestrial rain but now sunshine again.

My lawn was in a bad way after my trip to Spain. Looks like it was waterlogged in the winter.
However started watering 18 days with lawn care and lawn seed after much moss was removed.
thankfully we have had rain this week.
still looks like a long job to recover.

Heavy showers overnight, cleared for a few hours at dawn, really loud chorus., drying up now.
Both Blackbirds are feeding young and using our bird bath .

Glorious sunshine up here , how many times can you polish the van?  Still should dry out my battery charger after it was soaked by sudden shower last night...

I would love to be polishing (after washing it of course) the van but it's in storage and we can't get to it. Apparently there are too many folk out driving, wonder where they're all going 

B +Q  I would expect going by the queue I saw yesterday ?....

Dried up abit this morning. Forecasted for heavy showers later, really bringing on the bushes, flowers and potted plants.

Started dry and cold but heavy rain again now and gone really dark.

Promise of a few days settled warm and dry weather here and we have blue skies and bright sunshine. Looks like the BBQ chef will have a busy few days, aw wait, that's me 

Dry and bright this morning, good day for getting on with heavy jobs, unfortunately the old war wound of smashed feet and ankles playing up a bit today, so will have to take it easy.
Doesn't matter about time at the moment, heard a lovely expression from our daughter " There is no point in being a gazelle when you are in quicksand"
Plenty of time to do the heavy jobs this year!

Dried up after overnight rain (4.30am) Dozens of Blackies on grass verges and Mavis is coming back into the gardens in numbers now after thinning out for a few years.
I will join the rest of you in a BBQ later, enjoy.

Thanks Tony, really nice dry bright Dawn, chorus ramped up this morning.
Grass verges have been cut, Blackbirds are taking advantage of the abundance of food.

Due to this very dry sunny April ,i have had to seed and water my small grass area. It was called a lawn.

Birds are on the walls, waiting for me to go in, so they can take advantage.

Never seen so many diffent birds, very cheeky, and have no regard to social distant rules.

Is this the new world after  virus 19?

The Blackies are getting very cheeky, they are wheeching the tadpoles from the wee pond.
We used to have a lot more frogs until Tag arrived on the scene.
