Where to buy spares
Hi my speedo cable broke and am.struggling to buy one.... part number 6123k4

You could try sending your old one to this place: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] as a pattern and they'll make one for you.
I believe the cost is reasonable. Check with them first of course.

I'll second that.
I used them a few years ago to make a speedo cable for an old (1980 ) Audi 100. It took about two weeks. I cant remember the exact price but it wasn’t any more than I would expect to pay for an off the shelf part.
In this case they remade the ends and returned the old cable “as is”.

Only just bough the van. Needs front wheelbearing and i have a leak or blockage in my grey water system. Otherthan that all good

Does it really need a bearing? Has it failed MOT? It's often put down as an advisory but it's meant to have some play.

Can hear it and have jacked up and spun defo popoed. She was laid up fir a few years...
