[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Point of interest. I have been promising myself and “Rusty” my Montana pop top to do something about the front and rear grey plastic bumpers. I wanted to paint them black. The original plastic base is grey so no amount of heat gun use or peanut butter was going to turn them black. U Pol make a coating in America that goes under the name of Raptor truckbed sealer. It’s used on pickup trucks so it can take some abuse. I saw it used at a VW campervan show a couple of years ago on a T5. I’m very pleased with the results. I now consider “Rusty” to be completely renovated and will be taking the ‘van to Spain later this year

Nice job! up!

Son in law across the pond uses this stuff on the bed of his Dodge Ram pickup and no matter what abuse it seems to just hose clean. Excellent choice.

Good result.

Sprayed using a paint gun rather than the sealer gun that came in a kit
