Have you thought of a pub stop?

There are loads of them and you get a very cheap pub supper if you subtract what it would have cost you to stay on a site. Plus you can have a drop of ale since there's no driving afterwards. PUB STOPS

We find a quick phone call best. You can then ask if it's necessary to book a table, and that reassures the landlord that you are not a freeloader! A fair few pubs have stopped having motorhomes overnight because of those self centred idiots.

Thanks Dave. We have stopped at pubs in the past and may well stop at one in the future but we have found a CS that will do nicely for 2 nights and then we are free for the run home. I did panic when a site local to us looked full but I think it a computer error as they are now free again.
