Re: Led Lights
The simplest way is a straight swop with these. You don't need to replace all tubes as they are so much brighter that you will only need to use one or two light fittings.

Re: Led Lights
I agree with Paul, that's the easiest way - although expensive. I used stick on led strips (similar to these ) in eight fitments in the van.

I have used the stick on ones, daisy chained where I wanted more light.

Re: Led Lights
I replaced 8w strips with LEDS from CAK tanks in my 2006 Symbol, probably the same units? I had to remove the driver circuit board and directly wire the tubes but it worked a treat.

Re: Led Lights
Aten Lighting is arguably the best firm for LEDs.
The father and son (Joe and Saul) who run it are extremely helpful and will offer advice if you need it.
Suggest you have a browse on their website, part of which is specific to caravans and motorhomes. It will give you a good idea of what's available so you can make some informed choices.

Re: Led Lights
I can vouch for the above, they are local to me, and I took my van to them and they replaced all the lights with LED`s just a very satisfied customer, they are also at the shows.

Re: Led Lights
I wonder if anyone can help please, I want to put LED`s in the spot lights in the Topaz, but for the life of me I cannot get front off to replace bulbs, phoned Alan at AS he doesn`t know either, as he said all their spotlights unscrewed, which they did in my previous vans, these don`t of one tried to lever off and the brass coloured ring at the back fell off not the bit to change the bulbs, they are on a van twenty ears old, so maybe different.
Saw Shaun today at Atem Lighting, as he put in a new strip light which is under the kitchen pelmet in the Amethyst, he couldn`t change it when he did all the other lights earlier in the year, not enough room under the pelmet, as the kitchen cupboard is out , to refit new cameras, so took the cupboard with light attached o Atem yesterday, coudn`t get the light off the cupboard due to the wiring going between layers of plywood, collected it today. So if anyone can help on the spotlight problem would be most grateful, the lights are as bright as a candle.
Thanks
Best regards,
Margaret
