Nuevo cycle rack
Hi everyone,
Can anyone recommend a good tow bar cycle rack for a 2016 Nuevo. I’ve tried a Thule Xpress 970 hang on but the bikes touch the back panel (handle bars, peddles and the rear mech !).
The tow bar is a Watling and doesn’t have a flange tow ball.
I like the look of the Thule Ride-on but it looks like the first bike is still very close to the vehicle.
If not tow bar, how much should I expect to pay for a Fiamma and fitting to the rear panel.
Thank
Pete

Re: Nuevo cycle rack
We bought an Atera aStrada ebike from Roofbox which has worked well so far. We choose this because it allowed us to use our bike cover without cover any of the lighting board. We use it with two ebikes and it seems very sturdy. From memory I think it was about £300.
Others will know better the cost of a Fiamma, but I’m guessing a similar price fitted.
The towbar set up works best for us, more sturdy with the weight of the bikes, less lifting too. Admittedly the inside bike is close to the vehicle, but after using for several thousand miles there is no mark of any sort on the back of the van.
Good luck finding what suits you best.
