Kemerton XL - Removing Interior Light Unit

One of the bulbs in the interior light unit on my 2016 Kemerton XL isn't lighting. The unit is the one above the interior mirror/rear view camera. I can't figure out how to remove the light unit to replace a bulb. Do I prise out the whole unit from the headlining, or does it come out leaving the surrounding rubber liner in place. There are two slots in the rubber liner that I thought should allow me to insert a small screwdriver and push an internal clip inwards to release the fitting. When I tried this it just didn't happen. I don't want to break it, and so I'd be grateful for any advice.
