Bumper paint blisters.
I know some have had front bumper paint blisters while under guarantee. Just thought i would mention ours is now starting to blister on our 2014 Warwick XL, obviously out of guarantee.

I would still give a call or write to A/S as they know of this problem and I would expect some good will payment.
I made a claim on our now sold Topaz for plastic splitting after 4 and again after 7 years and did get some good will, only problem I had was it had to be repaired at the factory, hence we had to rent a cottage while they repaired it.
Don't give in if the first attempt of a claim fails, as in our case try again and you might get there. Mind you I understand they have changed hands since and Alan Curry is now retired so I have been told.
Some one will be along soon to help.
Best of luck.

I did consider that but don't hold much hope, they would,nt replace the cab carpet while it was in the two years when the fixing came apart which holds it down. Its not much in the scheme of things just a tad annoying. I will send them an email but they did,nt answer my last one,it was a good while ago .

I must admit they do come back with the usual motor trade "Fair Wear and Tear" one.
We might only be the pimple on the Elephants behind, but I did not give up and did get a result. I quoted Motorhomes of excellence, as being in their adverts, just kept on and live in hope.

Re: Bumper paint blisters.
I recently purchased a Kingham first registered October 2015. In the usual excitement over the handover last Saturday I didn't look too closely at the paintwork (there were other issues which haven't been resolved) however on closer inspection on the drive I noticed extensive tiny blisters on both sides of the bumper and along the front under the grille. The Peugeot paint warranty is three years so it's in the frame for that except my local main dealer said it would need service stamps from the dealer network, as it's only done 8000 miles the first service was done by the dealer who supplied the vehicle to me. I noticed it had been with them since at least October 2017 when the tax expired. The Peugeot service desk were sympathetic but have so many vans they can't look at it until the end of June! It was recommended I go back to the supplying motorhome dealer. (Not Marquis!). We've put an email together with pictures but would like to see the original thread referred to on here and also would like to know of any other experiences with his issue. TIA

Great forum btw already highlighted a number of issues we were not aware of (water pump, microwave, table etc)

Re: Bumper paint blisters.
My Nuevo developed the tiny paint pimples on its back panel, within the guarantee period. It's caused by frost affecting water droplets which were in the paint or its sprayer line. Mine have not deteriorated or spread.
I reached agreement with AS that, were the pimples to deteriorate or spread - as determined by me or my successor purchaser - then AS will, whenever that happens if at all, rectify the problem free of charge.
I regard that as a very fair and equitable solution: I can live with it as it is, and don't want to have to take the van back for a week or so and have the bike rack removed, if it's not essential. But I have the comfort of knowing that it will be done if I decide.
I praise AS for that amicable compromise.

Thank you for your very helpful response, it makes perfect sense. We'll wait and see what our dealer (who is an AS main dealer) says, one hopes their response is as constructive as yours

Both our front wings with blister bubbles and flaking paint were replaced by AS, 6 months into owning our Broadway obviously this was under warranty. So far no reoccurrence of the problem. I am sure AS will play ball as I think they mentioned to us at the time that they were having issues with moisture in the paint spray air lines. It was not a Peugeot base problem.

Is the paint blistering a AS problem or Peugeot?

Re: Bumper paint blisters.
The bumpers are sprayed in the body colour by Auto-Sleepers. No comeback on Peugeot.
My bumpers blistered after the first winter, usually the time they occur after a hard frost. Marquis at Durham had them resprayed under warranty, at a local bodyshop and so far have been OK.
Search the forum and you will find my and others previous posts on the subject.
