External Awning
1St. season with our 2010 Broadway motorhome and we are looking at awnings but as we have a built in Flamma awning the D rail is on the inside of the front cover plate as opposed the outside as on most motorhomes with external awnings. Is this going to be a problem?
Any advice would be appreciated.
I know its only Febuary but frustrated with the weather cant wait to get going

Re: External Awning
Hello and welcome to this most friendly and informative forum. Our previous van was an 08 registered Broadway EK and had the awning you describe. Not sure if it was a Fiamma but the rail is universal so no issues with attaching safari room or similar awnings. I think your awning is 3.5 metres width? Regards

Re: External Awning
Have you considered attaching your (tent) awning to the Kardor grouve/slot in the front edge of your Fiamma awning ? Keith

Re: External Awning
In my Fiamma awning, which I will not use on this van, , prefer a canopy slotted in, most tents, drive away awnings are 6mm cording to go in a 6mm slot, the Fiamma has 4mm , so on my Clubman I had a Kador strip with the plastic , connecting pieces, it is late and cannot think of the correct name, sorry, which works well and if a drive away awning easy to disconnect.and reconnect.
The canopy I have now has both, the 4mm and 6mm cording on it.
