Boxer Indicators
Has anyone had problems with not being able to auto correct indicators on a boxer after a turn is made.?
I have recently had difficulty in 'neutralising' the indicator lever when just using it to overtake another vehicle..
great frustration as it wanders from left to right indication!!
Garage says - no problem.

Re: Boxer Indicators
if its the same as my Ducato, just flick the lever upwards (without locking it) and it should flash five times...just right for overtaking..

Sadly this is a well known problem (I have it on my 2014 Boxer). There is no obvious solution and it is potentially confusing for other road users.

Same here, I often curse myself for what I believed to be a clumsy operation. Now I know I'm not the only one.

Re: Boxer Indicators
Thankfully I've never had this issue with my Peugeot van, but my work BMWs were horrendous for this.

Re: Boxer Indicators
Yep - me too. A pain in the backside, and potentially dangerous.
Another example of totally unnecessary "automation". Much easier to shove the lever up or down for a few clicks of the indicator, then push it back. You were in control then - not the blasted machinery!!

Re: Boxer Indicators
On VW T5/T6s it's possible to turn this feature off (it's called "Comfort Indicator" if I recall correctly) or to change the number of flashes that it automatically makes. I suspect that most vans will be similar (i.e. based on common Bosch parts).
