Stratford on the drive now
Well we picked up our Stratford yesterday from Heart of England Motorhomes.
It's now sitting on the drive awaiting all the items from our Duetto which are littering the front room. Thankfully it got onto the drive (only having to fold the mirrors) we can perhaps trim down what we carry too.
It was very hard to change after 9 years in Duettos but there wasn't anything van conversion wise on Ford with the build quality we have had from AS.
The carpets came out straight away as they are palish cream so not practical on places where mud may be. Going to wipe out all the drawers and line with non slip material as today's jobs.
Being white we don't have to worry about changing the external vents from white as we did on the Duetto. The TV was a surprise nicely hidden away and freeview on it. Although I can see the Remisfronts being on order quite soon.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Campievanner,
I hope you have many adventures in your new van. We bought our van from Heart of England and were very pleased with their service. I hope you were too.

You need to get out in it now. We are off to a local rally next week end with luck - 2nd trip of the year, we are lagging

Re: Stratford on the drive now
Thank you all.
Hopefully we will get away next weekend once we have found space for everything. I have tomorrow off :)
Not sure how others manage with the tables (please let me know how you can move it around and put it up in a limited space) but we have taken both out are going to cut down our old one (a bit of wood from our local wood shop which we varnished and added a leg holder to) and buy a Fiamma tripod leg and see how that works.
Took some photos today before Simon gets the hair dryer out on the graphics. Not sure myself as we got a wave yesterday and hadn't been waved at for years as FreddyVan didn't look like a campervan.

Hi Roger,
You're beating us .... only spent one night (friday 19th) as a 'shakedown' test, (locally) to make sure all was well after the winter lay-up .... glad to report all went well
Brian

Stratford on the drive
Snap. Picked ours up in November and been out lots. Seen snow gales lashing rain oh and a bit of sun. We thought the front table would be useful but it gets in the way so is now in the spare room. Only used main table twice. We use the flap on the back door (after I straightened it) or outside to eat. I fixed a small flap at the seat end to improve work top. Expensive but looks right as its from a Sussex/ Suffolk(?) You have to put it up to get in underseat locker but there is still room. See our separate post about our snagging list. Ours fills fairly quickly on hose but it should be able to be filled with a watering can/ bucket/ funnel so you don't flatten the battery.(Take note A/S) Hope you get as much fun from it as we are despite the annoying probs.
