As far as I can see, they both are there as a platform to distribute media via the internet so will need hi-speed broadband. Crackle seems to be a subscription service like Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. Neither advertises broadcast of mainstream British TV content that I can see.

Filmon
Film on is now subscription only, but they give you two minute for free. £14.95 a month or £149 a year.mikethebike wrote:I am trying" film on TV". Hoping with the adverts it will suffice.

Re: Crackle or Tube tv info
Hi Micky
A practical alternative might work if a family member or friend could record programmes onto a USB memory stick for you? The sticks are cheap enough and postage costs would be minimal on something so small, and with two or three sticks they could be relayed back and fore. If there are series you really don't want to miss, this could work.(Spanish brandy would probably be good as a bribe. )

Re: Crackle or Tube tv info
Thanks Dave.
Not too fussed about TV. However our Astra satellite works so well everywhere until we get into Spain.
In the past we had a free Wifi program that we could see on my laptop or via HTMI to the TV.
Things change so quickly. we can have free cable Spanish if i can get the connections sorted on the van.
We get SKY news and Pick via Astra.
We may move before the post could get here!
thanks
