Cooker cleaning Empty Cooker cleaning

Anybody know how to remove the stainless steel top from the cooker for cleaning. There is a gap down the side and we have had a couple of spillages that have run down into the gap. The cooker is a thetford triple.

Looking at the diagram linked above, the top is part of an assemble that include the burners, control knobs, gas pipes. igniter wires. You would need to remover the cooker and strip front, back and sides.

I wont be surprised if a member can advise an easy method, but cant see it myself.

Thanks for the drawing, I've had a look in conjunction with the drawing. It looks like I can remove the burner caps and the screws that attach the hob panel to the rear and front hob trim, it should then just lift out. I'll be trying it when I get back to the UK.
