Re: Maiden voyage!
"Things like how to fully open rear doors with the buttons,"
Hi Lorfal,
Decided to open the back doors fully via the button and there was an awful cracking noise as I put the bike rack straight into the offside light cluster. ( not cheap ) and not easy to replace in our Kemerton.
Just a word of warning if you fit a door mounted bike rack. In the meantime we are Excited for you .
Cheers Windy

Re: Maiden voyage!
Omg!! Had we had a bike rack I’m almost certain I would have done that!
I will try very hard not to hit this van off things lol. Backed the bessacarr into some logs once, caused a wee crack, but not major structural damage. Took off a wing mirror on first trip out. It fell off its blocks in the drive, my fault, and cracked into the wall.
I feel your pain, ouch
Don’t yet have bike rack , but will get one next year. Thanks to your post though I will be extra careful

Re: Maiden voyage!
Hi Windy , its not just you, our dealer on demonstrating our van on handover did the same thing ! I tried to stop him but he was too quick and put the bike rack straight through the back light cluster!

How embarrassing for him . When a bike rack is fitted you would think it possible to fit a larger buffer pad to the rear offside pillar. Perhaps there is one out there somewhere, not that I need one, as once bitten
