Newark Show Empty Newark Show

Post by daisy mae Mon Sep 04, 2017 10:58 am

Did anyone go to this show last weekend,?

I wondered why folk were leaving as we arrived there at 9.45am soon found out why, the stalls that were there viewed them in ten minutes, not many motorhome dealers, I went to buy two items, the stall I wanted wasn`t there, talking to a couple of the stall holders, they will not be going again, I wouldn`t be surprised if there is not  another MH Show there in the future. If there is I will not go.

On a similar note, I used to go to lots of motorbike shows, Stafford, NEC etc. But due to lack of support from stallholders they became a shadow of their former selves, I no longer attend any. We're all to blame I guess, like almost everyone these days, everything that I need to purchase is only a few clicks away.

We went and walked around in about half an hour.  Couldn't believe the lack of stalls and dealers having been to previous ones.  We won't be going again.  Will wait for the Lincoln show.
