towing socket
Hi all
I was poking around under my Auto sleeper Nuevo (2009) and have found another towing type socket I have two on the tow bar setup one white and one black ,
I was wondering if anyone could help,
the third is mounted out of sight up under the rear next to the step never heard it mentioned before I don't know what its for.
Any feedback would be welcome.
thanks

Re: towing socket
Is it 7 pin or 13 pin? Perhaps the previous owner had two trailers options, one requiring twin plugs, one requiring single 13 pin.

Re: towing socket
Some alarms use such sockets to connect external cables to wrap around bikes, etc.

Re: towing socket
Peter is correct (No surprise there then! )
Eddie Jones of VanBitz always puts them there.
Daft place in my opinion, specially when many motorhomers are very creaky and well past their sell by date. I asked him to mount ours on the towbar bracket where I can easily reach it to plug in the bike cable.
Hope this helps.

Re: towing socket
You may also have a switch to isolate it when not being used and when bike cable removed.
