VW Trident mystery parts... any idea?

hi . the chap we got our '98 trident from took out lots of bits he didn't use and stored them, i have found out what most of the bits are but am not sure where these go or what they are for? Answers on a postcard ;) [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

We had a 1980's Trident with something similar. It's a very vague distant memory but they were something to do with the pop top or the pop top bed. Sorry I can't be more specific.

hi,, thanks, I am thinking bunk bed too but i cant seem to find any screw holes or where they may fit into the scheme of things

They are the front mounting blocks for the roof bed boards They screw into the ledge below the top window

Yay thank you so much,  i was looking in the wrong place and they were taken off at least 15 years ago so any holes are now well disguised.  I will have a very close look as the holes will be there .  :)
