Kemerton XL Shower Empty Kemerton XL Shower

Post by BazJools Fri Jul 21, 2017 10:42 pm

Hi, We have recently purchased a new Kemerton XL and are very pleased with it. One problem is that when running the cold water in the basin it has to be run for quite a while before it is actually cold. Presumably because the cold pipe runs in parallel with the hot. A bit annoying as it wastes water. Just wondering if it's just us or if anyone else has a similar problem.

On my KemertonXL don't seem to have that, only alittle waste of water to get the shower at the right temperature

Same here on the Kemerton..no problem achieving the correct water temperature when selected-so only a small amount of water is wasted.

Hmmm...On ours, if you run hot into the basin, say for a hand wash, then want cold, say to clean teeth, then the cold is hot for quite a while... I wonder if its dependant on how the fitter laid the pipes on installation ?

Thanks for the replies. Nice to know we're not the only ones.  It does seem like it's down to the pipe run. Wonder if it is possible to reroute.
