Hi FolksMindhyg wrote:Hi folks me again
I went out to the van early this morning and decided to run a test on the radio, bearing in mind what Wargenwolf said. I ticked the 20 minute power delay checkbox and the radio sure enough did turn off after 20 mins. I then returned to the menu and unticked the check box. Doing that has buggered it up and now it turns off after 20 minutes regardless of how it is set. I had not touched my radio settings apart from tuning and setting up the bluetooth to the phone and I now wish I had left the ruddy thing well alone. I have a appointment at the factory on Friday 25th August to put right a couple of things the dealer cant fix. I will ask Mark about why the radio has gone like this and get an answer from him. So if you can wait until after that date we should have an answer.
I have just taken delivery of a 2016 Warwick XL, and guess what, the damn radio switches off after 20 minutes. I have been searching for solutions but to no avail. Just wondering how you went on in August when you visited the Factory. Are you now able to listen to the radio/media system for longer than 20 minutes.
Regards
Graham.

Re: Radio/Media 20 minute cut off override?
We have a 2014 Broadway, and luckily from new we have had no issues with the cab radio. With the ignition switched off and when we are living in it, it stays on all the time, only going off when we decide to switch it off. I have never fiddled with it. We used to get an occasional error message in the first year, which was easy to get rid off. When we use the cab radio we do make sure it is switched off after an hour or so, to prevent flattening the battery. This is not really an issue when on EHU as both batteries are kept topped up with the charger. One problem we do have occasionally are the speaker covers dropping off in hot weather! Looks like they are attached with blue tack! Most of the time we use a small portable DAB radio for convenience in the early mornings, when we are still in bed having a cuppa!
Just remembered, the only niggle with the cab radio, when travelling, is getting a clear signal. It hacks my wife off!! We end up listening to CDs.
We had the 20 minute cab radio cut off problem with out previous motorhome, a 2004 Pollensa (again a Peugeot Boxer base)

My wife has just said "Not until they have a downturn in their sales!"
