Looking for a Peugeot Owners Manual
Hi everyone,
I am a new member and I'd like to ask for some help. I bought a Peugeot Boxer Auto Sleeper Harmony from Downtide Caravans at Alby, near Cromer in Norfolk. Despite great service from the two brothers who run this company the Harmony is missing it's Peugeot Owners Manual. The Boxer is a 1995 M with a 2.0 petrol engine and 5 speed gearbox. Would anyone with the same model be willing to photocopy the Peugeot manual and post it to my home address, or as we are in the 21st Century scan it and attach it to an email? Either way I would be willing to pay your expenses or make a donation to a favourite charity.
With many thanks!

Hi Derick, welcome to ASOF.
Is it the base vehicle manual you're after, or a manual for the AS conversion part?
I have a scanned Boxer X230 base manual if that's any help?

Peugeot Boxer handbook

Thank you for replying to my query. It is actually the base vehicle manual I am after. I have the AS Operator's manual, the one with the spiral binding, but that does not have any of the Boxer's technical details.
Kind regards.

Then I have the base vehicle manual as a PDF that I can send if I have an email address.
By PM is best, if you have that facility enabled yet?

Re: Looking for a Peugeot Owners Manual
Hi, meanchris is it possible you could send me a copy of the pdf version of the Boxer's manual as well?
I have just joined and have been looking for advice with an intermittent starting problem. Both the AA (during roadside recovery) and a mobile mechanical have had a look and nothing has been found. Not having a manual is not helping. I have not got access to PM you having only just registered.
Kind regards
Tony

Hi Tony
I'm sure either meanchris or PB will send you the manual, but I doubt if it will help your starting probs.
Start a new thread and you will probably get a better response.

Hi Frank
I am a bit loathed to start a new thread yet. I have not done enough checking myself. I have checked for obvious breaks in the wiring, changed the crank case sensor as the most likely cause (and it is cheap) but before I start stripping out the fuel side I would like to read the manual. It has been a few years since I worked on an engine.

Re: Looking for a Peugeot Owners Manual
OK, I was wondering whether it might be the steering lock key sensor, but I think that was only on the later X244.

Going off topic
Hi Tony,
Starting a new thread means that you will not be taking this post off topic and it will be of more use to people researching problems in the future. Look at it this way, when you are searching the archives on this forum to find clues about your starting problem, will you be searching amongst the tyre pressure threads?
Believe me, the owners handbook offers no help whatsoever to the 'getting your hands dirty' side of things. It is useful for finding out which fuse controls what sort of thing but not much else.
There is a Peter Russek manual which is not up to Haynes standards but more useful than the Pug handbook.
I gather that your van is petrol? I have a scanned copy of the Haynes Magneti Marelli 8p part of their fuel systems manual so could tell you the resistance values etc.. of the various components should you need them.
